Christmas Tree Bread

8 Rhodes Texas Rolls or 13 dinner rolls
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup brown sugar
White frosting
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Thaw rolls until warm and bubble
Kneed into a ball
Roll out dough into 12" x 18" rectangle
Spread butter over dough and sprinkle on cinnamon and sugar
Fold dough into triangle, overlapping edges
Leave one inch uncovered along bottom
Cut off bottom inch of dough and roll as a cinnamon roll to use for tree trunk
Place tree on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray and position trunk under tree
Using a clean pair of scissors cut branches about every inch
Twist each branch several times and curve upward
Cover with plastic wrap that has been sprayed and rise for 40 minutes
Remove wrap
Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown
Frost while warm
Sprinkle with slmonds and decorate with maraschino cherries
