Sugar Cookies

2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
4 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tsp vanilla
7 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
4 tsp cream of tarter

Cream sugar and shortening
Add eggs, milk and vanilla
Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture
Roll out 1/4 inch thick and cut into desired shapes
Bake at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes
